This is not the first time I’ve blogged about fairs in Israel, their atmosphere and all the goodies you can find. This fair will be a bit different for me, though, because this time I’ll be taking part. I am happy to tell you about The Cocktail Sale taking place this coming Thursday and Friday at the Binyamina Winery.
When I first heard about the Sale, I certainly didn’t think I would be taking part: I just wanted to blog about it, like I do all the other fairs. I marked the date in my calendar and tracked what was going on. At the same time, and completely unconnected, I had been designing all sorts of small home décor items that I love but can’t find in stores. And then I felt for the first time that I would like to be part of an interesting and colorful fair.

I’ve been familiar with the Binyamina Winery’s visitor center for a number of years, but recently it underwent a massive renovation and the newly renovated complex bears no resemblance to its former self. Honestly, I liked the new place so much that the very next morning I went with my camera and tried to capture a little of the atmosphere for you, as you can see in the photos here.
So, what’s the plan? The winery’s warm and pleasant atmosphere, good music , a wine tasting booth , delicious cocktails and the new café that is surrounded by nature will be open throughout the event when you have a moment to relax. The fair has a terrific list of quality exhibitors that can be found on the event’s Facebook page. Most importantly, for the kids: a fun atmosphere with a make-up artist to paint their faces, someone to weave beads and braids in their hair, and more.
